The difference is an outfitter is a business that provides meals and lodging. A guide service is a business that does not provide lodging.

Q: What is an associate member?

Any non-guiding staff of outfitters or guide services as well as any supporter of UGONB.

Q: How do I become a guide?

All hunting and Atlantic salmon guides must complete the provincial guide test. Visit https://www2.gnb.ca/content/dam/gnb/Departments/nr-rn/pdf/en/Publications/Guide.pdf for info on becoming a guide.

A full service business offering a guided hunting, fishing or outdoor adventure experience that includes accommodation and meals.

Any New Brunswick licenced guide who either works independently or is employed by an outfitter or guide service.
